A 15-year associate at The Home Depot Inc., Blanca Rodriguez is also the community outreach chairperson for The Home Depot’s Hispanic Diversity Group, HOGAR. Active since HOGAR’s founding, Ms. Rodriguez volunteers for countless community and charitable events, including Big Sisters/Big Brothers, KABOOM, Cabbagetown Tornado Clean-up, Fiesta Georgia and the LAA-Backpacks for Kids and says she enjoys helping the Hispanic community through her volunteer work. “The rewards of volunteering are endless—I feel that when you volunteer, the experience you gain is much more than you can ever imagine. The Home Depot has always inspired me to volunteer and helped as much as possible, since The Home Depot is always there for the community and its associates.” When Ms. Rodriguez isn’t lending a helping hand to the community, she is an associate systems specialist in the I.T. Logistics Support department of The Home Depot.
